Three-Dimensional Art

Aaron's background in painting, hand-carved frames, concrete and construction has provided the framework for him to excel in sculpture. With a natural eye for the third dimension, he is producing carvings and sculptures that are getting lots of attention. During his art residency at the Hiram Blauvelt Art Museum, Aaron worked with some of the top sculptors in the field, honing a craft that compliments his paintings. The engineering, modeling and carving techniques Aaron has developed offers an infinite number of opportunities to portray wildlife and their habitats in a manner the audience can appreciate from multiple viewpoints.

Aaron visits a local university where he crosschecks proportions on a blue-winged teal piece.
